Bad Viberation/shutter in car

ok ive noticed in my car science i bought it that it has a bad viberation in it 35mph under hardly anything anything over say 50mph when i hit the breaks to slow it starts to shake/shutter i pulled my front wheels off 2days ago and pads look good and the rotors are around 1/2 year old. the tires are 1/2 a year old and still look new. Ive been told universals/bearings/tir rod ends/ect idk im going to try universals and see about that but idont think it is.
Any sugjestions?

If it only happens when using the brakes Most likely you have a warped rotor

Mike -

Make sure your drive shaft is straight, balanced and the U joints are centered correctly.

OK, could be a lot of things but drive shaft issues can do that.

well i think i narrowed it down to universals or front rotors. stuff went on wit fam took it out on car did some burn outs and hit the breakes a little hard. now at 45mph it shakes alot! and just as bad when stoping from that or higher speed and i noticed it shakes the car through out u can see the seats/door panels/windows shake so i think its universals. idk

Check the tie rod ends, pitman and Idler arms. Then the Ball Joints and control arm bushings .

ok jacked the rear of car up i tried moving the drive shaft sided 2 side near rearend no play... now at the trans tail i tried it and theres movement and i can see were the tail shaft seal been leaking over time/still and that the rubber trans mont i can pull apart with my fingers do to trans fluid eating at it and its moves a lot to me. Another thing is i grabed the rear tire turned it and it turned good then feels like its catching like a warped rear drum. so Im thinking im going to: put new universals in/new tail shaft seal/trans mount(rubber )/rear drums and pads& spring kit.

Ditto Merc Don

also check the bushing at the front of the strut bars.

Try this on your front rotors. clean with brake clean.
Sand the rotors with 120 grit. brake clean again.
Look up brake bed in procedure. Or just replace the pads.
