Question convert 1966 charger to disc brakes

I have a 1966 charger that I want to convert to disc front brakes. I have a set of front disc brakes and all the hardware off of a 1967 dodge coronet. The only way the spidles will mount is with the caliphers on the front of the spindle---------What am I missing??? Is there any info on line with procedures and maybe pics?

Please help if you can!!! Thanks

I'm not versed in the specifics of B body stuff but on the A bodies you just swap the spindles on whichever side, and you can mount the brakes front or rear, depending on which sides the spindles are.

I put mine on the rear, to be sure they don't interfere with the anti sway bar, but that's not where the factory put them

EDIT just took a look at the service manual, and I'd say you simply have the spindles on the wrong sides

Consider brake line/hose routing.

If I install them with the caliphers toward the front they will bolt up but when installed properly the bolt holes will not match up.

What bolt holes? You have the correct ball joints? Again not familiar with B swaps (even though I've owned some,) but on the A's the ball joints are different for disc / drum
