has anybody installed these springs?

Hi, i am looking to install new leafs and was going to use http://www.jegs.com/i/Mopar-Performa...rentProductId= and http://www.jegs.com/i/Mopar-Performa...rentProductId=

my question is do i need the hanger kit? from what i can see, it's not needed for my car. thanks.

Trust me you don't want those springs, they are the super stock racing springs, stiff as an iron bar. Get part numbers P4452982 for the right and P4452983 for the left, they are the factory replacement heavy duty springs as used in the R/T's.

Also check with your local dealer, you can get them cheaper since you won't have to pay shipping. If you are determined to get the ss springs check with snake eater on this forum, he just too his ss springs off, you can probably get a better deal.

get shackle kits for springs. They are not expensive and save a heck of alot of swearing.

depends on your intended usage.. The SS springs for your B body would require the longer spring hanger. They were made to fit the A body without modifications. Since they were shorter they require a longer spring hanger on the B body. I had a set on a 77 Volare, Those hangers were long!!!!

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. The car is a daily driver in the summer and the leafs on it are inverted so the back end is way low. I’m just looking for good stock springs that I know will fit the car and some of these sites are a little tricky when it comes to looking up parts. I tried some local dealers but they are more expensive.

so i'm guessing that i bolt up the front first, then the U joints then the shackle in the rear?
