Help a FoMoCo man help a Mopar man. Disc Brake Question

As you may have guessed by my handle, I am a FoMoCo fan but I genuinely appreciate all of the old iron so now that we have that out of the way....

One of my hobbies is dripping through boneyards, picking parts and reselling them. The other day I found a 76 or 77 Volare with disc brakes and the question I have is are these worth scavanging so somebody could upgrade their old drum setups?

I know that similar year Granada discs will retrofit easily to many earlier Ford models and wanted to know if the same held true for these Volare brakes and what models they are interchangeable with.

Thanks for your help.

Ford guys have been using the whole front suspension with the lateral torsion bar set up. I haven't heard about them using any of the rear suspension nor the rear brake setup. Even Mopar guys are using the front brake setup. It does however change the height of the front of the vehicle by 1/2".

Maybe I didn't make myself clear but I'm not trying to fit these onto a Ford, I want to sell them to somebody with a Mopar that can use them for an upgrade ala the Ford equivilant of a mid-70's Granda to early Mustang disc brake swap/upgrade.

Will the brakes off of a 75 or so Volare or Valient fit early, say, mid to late 60's Mopars?

You will need to use the F-Body spindles also. That's why I stated the height change. The will work on earlier Mopars. I would say 1968 A bodies for sure. Go to Mopar Action Magazine and seach for F-Body calipers.

Mopar Action is good but they dissed the F-Body disk brake setup but said they like the master cylinder? What give with that.
