1976 Plymouth Valiant Dash Wiring
I have a 1976 Plymouth Valiant in which I have no Dash Lights this includes the lighting for the Heater/ AC controls and Gear Indicator, No working Gauges. I've Looked online for a Schematic for Just the Dash area. Does anyone Have something like that or can tell me if I'm missing a common Ground, Power, or Fuse? I forget what the (Lack of better word) Capacitor Looking thing on the back of the Dash is called and what the Long Silver Rectangle thing is.

Your looking for the same one that I was looking for...
Being that we dont have that one..... The switch has a dimmer in the switch... When using your test light. Dose the Dimmer have output? Going from brighter to bimmer when you turn the **** with your test light attached?
What we are looking for is to make sure we have the output and a starting color for the wires for the lighting.
The reason I think it is a power issue is... The ashtray light is housing grounded along with the heater control light, so we need to know if these have a broken wire at a splice or if we are just chasing a ground issue?
However, these wires can change color as you see in the wiring diagram. So we test and get out of the way what is known Good and move on...
