73 Challenger Ignition

First meet with my 73 challenger didn’t go so well after a long haul from Kentucky to New Zealand. Battery fully charged. Key on. Interior lighta on. Power to dash. Head Lights work. Turn key to start. Everything goes dead. Engine doesn’t crank. Disconnect battery. Reconnect. Lights on again. Turn key to start and everything dies again. Any wisdom to point me in the right direction appreciated

Cheers. I want to put some fat feet on it.
It has the 14X6 rims. I am wanting to put 15X8 rims. Hoping to put 245 60 15 on the front and 275 60 15 on the rear.

Would be interested in your thoughts on the set up and if they will fit without modification - 1973 Challenger

Cheers
