brake warning lights

I have a 94 Dakota and two brake warning lights stay on when the ignition is on. There is nothing wrong with my brakes; master cylinder is full, brakes were recently rebuilt and work fine. I used my scanner to check and cleat trouble codes. The problem has to be electrical. I have long been keeping tape over the lights but that looks so tacky. If anyone know how to fix this properly, please tell me..

My 2012 Subaru Impreza had the Brake light come on and off at random times while I was driving. Been that way for 5 months until it finally got bad enough that I decided to take a look at it.

Could be something as simple as the brake fluid level sensor or just low on fluid... Cheers

Not knowing your truck, could it be an emergency brake sensor hanging up? If it has anti-lock brakes, the sensor could have gotten screwed up if you collapsed the caliper piston without opening the bleeder.
