OK..I am not stupid but my son and I are suspecting that the flasher in our Dart is toast. Lights come on and flash slowly and all bulbs are lit. 4 way flasher works OK as well. Got new flasher but can't gain access to get the flasher out. Its up on the inside of the dash behind radio and above ash tray. Whats the secret to changing this out the easy way? Drop steering colume? Just curious?

 

If I remember correctly, its held in by a metal clip. Should just pop out. Possibly with an upward motion?
