hello all i have a 65 fury 4 door the door the panels the vinyl is good but you got the board is bad i separated the board the vinyl is great. i bought the correct thickness of board from home depot 1/8 its the exact size.the question i have any of you guys done this before just spray with 3m the edges and staple but what staples? or just spray with 3m and this is good enough?trying to save a mopar and save money thanks ahead of time

When you get ready to install the vinyl on the new backing, spray the edges front and back of the backing and the area of the vinyl that contacts it. 1 1/5 on front and back same on vinyl.
Its very important to let it set up to tacky before joining the two parts!
Long strips of wood that you can clamp down on booth sides of the panel as the glue sets up never hurts.
Just snug you don't want to leave an imprint on the front of the vinyl!!
I don't think you will need the staples the vinyl has been in training for over fifty years.
