Electrical Problems 1951 Plymoth

I don't have documentation that old. Found a 55 wiring diagram, here:

The thing is, there does not appear to be any fuse links, breakers or fuses between the battery and the ammeter, or the ignition switch.
I would probe around, you have power?
at the ammeter terminals?
At the "BAT" terminal of the regulator?
At the ignition switch?
Are you sure? the battery is actually making contact at the battery cable clamps?
Where have you checked for power?

What have you checked? You haven't helped US a bit.........you have a wiring diagram, online? That we can look at?
Have you at least checked at the ammeter? At the regulator BATT terminal? That would show you have a continuous path from battery back through the ammeter / wiring to the regulator
How about the battery terminals / cables?
Otherwise, we might as well be telling jokes over coffee

Well look, you can't just stand there and wish you could, you have to get your hands dirty

There are three terminals on the regulator
One goes to the output of the generator which is Armature
One goes to the generator Field
The third goes to the ammeter and back to the Battery
Similar to this. This is Ford/ Merc and the order of the terminals might be different, but they will be marked

So if you have power at the regulator BATTERY terminal, this shows power is getting through the ammeter circuit and to the regulator.
Probably the next step is check power at the ignition switch.
That's all I can tell you You are going to HAVE to "get your hands dirty." Without being there, impossible to do anything else.
