Ipod hook up question
Hi, I have a 2010 Challenger Classic R/T with a radio and a single disc player. In my center console I have the hookup for a cable for an ipod , I phone. If I hook up my ipod Nano up to it, can I control the buttons from my radio and not my Ipod. I do NOT have an i phone so Bluetooth is out of the question...I just want to control the Ipod from my radio buttons......can it be done? Thanks.

Check with crutchfield or another vendor. Usually the small audio "in" signal is for a headphone jack so any mp3 device will work. It doesn't carry any other controls.
So you want to use the nano as a storage device? And select music from the head unit?
Is there a small USB or USB micro plug with a cover on the lower right side of the front head unti? If so I thing you need a plug to plug the ipod in there with the main plug on the ipod and not the audio out signal.

If the cable in the center console is the USB for the iPod, it can be controlled from the buttons on the radio. However if it is just the audio cord, you'd need to control from the iPod.
