My Wipers stop working

I was driving my Fury '74 out in the rain but in one moment the passenger side wiper stop working and five minutes later the driver side wiper stop working too. I parked the car and I could hear the wipers motor working but the wipers doesn't move then I guess my wipers linkage has failed. In the moment I disconnected the wipers motor electric line to prevent damage to it.

How Can I access to the Wipers Linkage to check or replace it?

I think those you remove the wiper arms and then remover the screws for the grill cover and then remove the cover....
Replace all the rod arm inserts one at a time..

.

Dont get it turned backwards..

I don't think the vise grips would make any difference I used to have to do that every 4-5 years on my 79 Van

Today I was checking the wipers linkage and I found this piece into the linkage compartment

What is this?

I noticed that there wasn't any bushing on the linkage, So I guess I must buy a replacement kit.

Will this kit be ok for my fury? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dorman-Winds...4c1307&vxp=mtr

Hi!

Sorry for this delayed response but only yesterday I took the time to inspect the wipers linkage because I already bought the Wiper Linkage Bushings but them doesn't fit in any linkage place. Is very hard to get access to the wiper linkage and the left wiper linkage arm is stucked just below the windshield moldure. What can I do to get a easier access to the linkage?
