Serious Electrical Issues......

Okay so my wife's 1998 plymouth grand voyager was working just fine, then the other day she left to go somewhere and upon putting key in ignition and turning it on, van became possessed, would not start, would not turn over, power locks started clicking, gauges going crazy and clicking sound coming from the dash just left of the steering column. Ive tried unhooking the battery for 15 minutes so that maybe the computer would reset, didnt work, checked all the fuses in the fusebox under the hood- all were fine, voltage test on battery revealed battery is fine. So.....what is my next step in troubleshooting this? any idea's on where and/or what to look for? desperately need help!!!!

thanks!

Sounds like it might be Steering Column mounted sentry anti-theft Device.
Going to need the DBR Scan tool for that one, I'm Sure...

iam NOT an electric expert. but check that the steering column is grounded and other grounds. sounds like low volts at the computer. dont for get an I.C. chip that gets low volts will go crazy, and do things it would not do other wise.
