Hello I'm new to this forum,looking for some help.i have 1968 charger,the previous owner did not hook up the washer button.i have 4 wires coming out of harness,don't know how they go thanks

 

Should be two brown wires in a molded plug that fits the washer button

 

I have 4 brown wires all with single plug

 

Woof. That's rough, time to get a multimeter and a helper. Should be able to do a continuity test between the pump and one of the wires (disconnect it first, otherwise it will read through the motor windings). The other wire comes from the wiper switch plug, should be able to do a continuity test here too, make sure and unplug that before testing as well. Let me know what you find, this is a simple circuit.

 

I think your going to need a wiring schematic to help you out...

So 2 wires go on bottom of wiper switch and 2 on washer button?

 

Not sure what you mean. One of those wires should go to the wiper switch and one should go out to the pump. I have no idea what the other two are for. I don't feel like I'm explaining this very well, sorry.

 

Got it thanks,2 go on washer button and 1 other is jumper to wiper switch and as I understand the 4 th is for 3 speed wiper ,I think thanks
