I need to know how to remove the heater control panel from a 1978 dodge d150 lil red express. Thanks

 

REmove the two face screws on the panel..... Remove the plastic glove box.... Release the cables from the blend doors..Unhook the wiring connectors.. Pull the assembly out from the glove box area... Be careful the plastic is fraguel after all these years, it can crack on you so easy !!!
At least thats what i have done.... But my truck (Warlock) has no A/C...

Thanks for the info, however it does not appear that the heater control panel is close enough to reach by removing the glove box plastic. The glove box is on the passenger side of the 1978 LRE.
