A904 slip yoke

I have a 31 Plymouth PA that has a 318 LA in it. The problem is the driveshaft has what I believe is 727 slip yoke on it, 30 spline. I am looking for a slip yoke for a A904, 26 spline. Does anyone know where I can pick one up or trade?

If you have a 30 spline on it now that must be what you need because you can not use either or it’s a one or the other type of deal. Count the spline on both your yoke and your transmission and see what’s up…

I should have mentioned that the trans has a 26 spline output shaft. the driveshaft has the 30 spline.

There’s no way the two should be able to go together. I wouldn’t think it would be hard to find a yoke locally like transmission or driveshaft shops or salvage yards…

I agree, they do not go together. This is the reason I am looking for a 26 spline. So far all of the junk yards around me don’t have one. One is searching his older stock and two said I can come and look to see if I can match something. Not real promising without having to travel real far. I’m in the area southwest of Knoxville.

That’s what I figured, I’ve been there it’s beautiful down there but I have a feeling that it’s a little too warm for me in the summer…

Sprint cars can’t be viewed with any appreciation on tv, there’s nothing like seeing one flip over a 20’ tall fence and land in the parking lot.

No doubt.... You are 100% correct.... Nothing like being in the Stands at the track..... I myself have been to about 50-60... Dirt Track Races.... OilDale in Bakersfield, Ascot, Perris, ECT..... My most favorite are OUTLAW Winged cars.... Just a side note.... I live in the same town that (Justice Brothers Product) was made along with Wynn's... All popular names associated with dirt cars.....

One of the guys that did my dyno work raced sprint cars, he started back in the 50s racing flatheads back in 91 he put his son in the car and I think he tore up everything he had. But he did turn out to be a good driver but late models were his thing. But back in the early 90s my buddy and I would drive down to Knoxville watch the races when we weren’t racing a few years earlier I’d watch the sprints on asphalt at Indy when Gordon was racing, those were cool wheels up tires smoking coming out of a turn.
