1965 Plymouth Sport Fury fixer-upper
I have a '65 Sport Fury that will need a little bit of attention. This car was my daily driver for over a year until I set it to the side to start body work and upgrade the engine. It has a 383 Commando with a 727 transmission. Originally a two barrel, I had a Weiand intake and Holley 650 4-bbl installed. I haven't been able to get it properly tuned since. I do have the original intake and carb available. I removed the vinyl top and the back seat. I have the backseat in storage. I've popped all the dents out, but they may need going over. The whole car is pretty solid, and the only rust I see is surface rust around the window trim and rear bumper. It is missing all of the side trim and badges, and the inner taillight lenses. Hubcaps from a Fury III are in the trunk. The driver side door jammed a month ago when it was slammed. I haven't had time or money to continue messing with this car, so I'm letting it go. I had planned on making it a vintage stock car clone, but finances won't allow it. I'm hoping someone can finish what I started and give this old Mopar the treatment it deserves. The car is located in Spartanburg, SC. I'm asking $3000.
