Hello. I have a 65 polara with a 426 street wedge. I have new pistons, cam. I suspect the remainder of parts are 440 interchangeable but cant confirm. Anyone know?

 

4.25 bore 426
4.32 Bore 440
Stroke was the same...

 

I believe pretty much everything except pistons interchanges.

 

Pretty much every thing except pistons and the heads are different. It will have the closed chamber heads, so if you use the later open chamber heads you will loose compression... That may be a good thing if it is a street motor
