76 Colt drag car

78 Colt drag car, got this from a family member, its been sitting in the garage since 96, last time out it went in the 9's. tube chassis, full cage, 4 link, 9 inch, strange axles and spool. 456 Richmond gears. 440 BBC. 12.5 to 1 forged pistons. Solid lifter cam. TM7 intake. MSD AL6. Tranny is 727 with reverse manual valve body. Not sure of the converter stall but high. Mopar ignition. The heads are race spec,Hurst Quarter stick shifter. needs a carb and fuel pressure regulator.comes with the trailer. looking for $7000 OBO

I would bet that is a hand full to drive with the short wheel base...

The date on my camera is wrong, the pictures were taken today. and i was wrong, its a 78 not a 76. I'm open to offers, i dont have the time or money for another toy right now.

The car doesn't have a title but it does have a VIN so you could apply for a title and prostreet it if you wanted. all the headlights, taillights, turn signals are all still there, it even has the original glass, door panels, dash(with cig lighter), door locks...


May consider trade for street car/truck or ....

I played with it a little yesterday and everything powers up and the motor turns over, im bidding on a carb on ebay, i think im going to get it running if i have time.
