Paint code search: I’m getting ready to paint my Torana but I’m having trouble finding the paint code for the colour I’ve chosen: 1967 Chrysler Desert dune metallic.



It’s an American Chrysler colour and I’ve been to a few paint shops but it is not coming up on their system.



I found a few codes online:



CAY2T4, Y

4805D



Does anyone know how to find the paint code?

one thing to keep in mind is Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge might have a couple different mix formula’s for the same code.
The Chrysler color will have more depth a richer tone than the other’s..
