74 duster, slant 6

so i have this awesome duster, original paint, running slant 6, vinyl roof *almost rust free roof... >.> next project*

but i have 1 major problem... a 1 bbl carb... a dieing carb... so i want to replace it... with a 2 bbl... only 2 problems with that... need to find a 2 bbl intake and a 2 bbl carb... anyone got any good places or ideas on where i can find them?? *i know they exist... i have seen them.*

also, my roof... unlike most youngsters *im 19 btw*, i want to replace the vinyl, i like the look, so i was wondering if anyone had a guide or knew the steps for replacing/removing the vinyl?

thanks for taking the time to read and reply.

you can get the new top from yearone.com and just keep looking around the only slan sixes that came with two barrels are the SUPER SIXES if you can find one check ebay I know there was some aftermarket intakes made with four barrels so just look around online better of just swaping out to a stout 318 V8

OK, Here we go!

The Super six was a two bbl, and the Hyper-pac is the 4 bbl.

You guys are too young. That's old stuff. Cool to play around with now but worthless back in the day. These were ditched long ago. I'm sure there are some still around.

You can still buy a hyper-pac 4 bbl from Clifford performance or even offenhouser. They cost around $400. Clifford sells the headers as well.

You can find 318s or 360s for damn well free if you search. But you'll need a different transmission too.

Hell, I bought a 383/727 8 3/4 w/ 3:23 SG for $150! But i did get a big ole 67 4 door fury too...

Just keep your eyes open
