A Body Disk Brakes????

I have a couple disk brake setups for the A body mopars but neither is a Power Brake setup. To make them a power brake setup is all I need a Booster and p /valve? Are the disk brake setups without power assist worth anything?.... $$ wise.

Thanks folks.

Well, I bought the whole car She is sitting on the trailer at my folks place. If the GF finds out about it, she'll nuter me for sure! I have a LOT more room to work on it her at the folks place anyway. I can strip off what I need and then scrap the rest. Just waiting on him to call now about bringing the engine over

Pix can be found here. I really don't want to scrap her, but with me needing the cowl panel, I don't see a way of saving it. That and taking the F&R suspension, and the K frame. If someone wants to try and save it, I'm open to ideas...

Over the weekend, I got the rear end, K-Frame, and front brakes out. I don't think I will save the seats. They were quite uncomfortable

O...it wouldn't start either...wonder why LOL

We started cutting out the cowl panel but ran out of gas...just my luck...rained most of the weekend, and when the sun DID come up...we run out of gas

If I can make it back down, I should have it torn appart by next week, and be ready to get re-started on my Dart. If not...I know I will be back there in three weeks...

I am looking for a manual brake master cylinder setup for a 73 Dart. Does anyone have one laying around they want to sell?

Let me look into that for you...I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to use the MC I had for my Dart. I'm going to have to figure out what to do about that..isn't the MC for later model disc brakes different than the MC for early drums?

Some sad pix I have to post I got the parts I need, and am hauling the rest to the scrap yard tomorrow. She gave her life to save my Duster and Dart.

A moment of silence please...

Any suggestions on what and where to buy a disc brake conversion kit for my 68 Dart? Should I do both front and rear? Not trying to break the bank, just want a good quality upgrade to the original drums that are on the car now..thanx, dj

If you can find a donor car, like I did, you are set. If not, I understand Masterpower Brakes has a kit for $1100 that takes all the hassle out of it. I think 2Gs will get both front and rear if that is the goal.
