Let me traduce it.

Dodge dart swinger 1970, 340 model with 4 on the floor. Model with two bucket seats and 150 speedometer. No engine or tranny, the rest is complete. New Posi-Traction diff plus original one. Chromed Cragar mags + big tires and an original 340 hood in stock. All pieces are in the car. Comes with original SN and papers. Good project, serious buyers only, ect blah.

It would be a killer with a crate 360!

How much $$$, and you have to realize no motor or tranny in a 340/4 original car... have you priced #'s matching 340's lately??

Fifteen hundred bucks, and i don't intend it to be numbers matching, nor even a 340. Numbers matching, that's for rich people...

1500 might be ok, how's the rust? Looks like there might be SERIOUS rust, from the pics, in the rear/ trunk/ quarter area. I'd sure want to inspect the thing close.

So far as matching nu's WTF??? You can't build a matching ## car from a hulk like that--you certainly won't find the original engine and trans, right??

I'll admit, it'd take a LOT of time and money to make a "correct" car out of it again.

Someone may not be able to find the ACTUAL engine out of that particular vehicle, but they can find an engine with the same serials and put it in the car and make it a "correct" car. Even away from numbers matching, even finding a 340 to put back in that car is starting to take major bucks... people sell 340 blocks that aren't guaranteed all the time for $500 or more. Either way, it would be nice to see an original 340 Swinger such as this particular one get its natural powerplant, and $1500 seems a fair price for it, but as 440RoadRunner said I would have to quite a bit of inspection before I pay $1500 for a car with no internals.
