So I own a 70 Dart Sedan with a 198 Slant 6. I’ve been trying to remove my instrument cluster but the damn thing won’t come out. It keeps getting hung up in the dash towards the steering column in the middle. Does anyone know how to properly remove it before I break the ******? Thanks.

 

Take the lower Panel off.... Unbolt the lower dash mounting nuts.... Loosen the plate at the firewall.... Put the shift solector in 1st gear... Then you should be able to work it out. Make sure you unbolt the support bracket on the back of the dash also.
