Siamese-bore or Non-Siamese for 340 block?
Ok... buying the new mopar 340 block for the 67. Going to bore it to 4.040. Want basically stock HP specs. Do want forged crank, forged pistons 10:1, and good rods, and a nice cam. What is going to be the best manufacturer for the parts. Mopar, Crane, Comp, TRW, ???? Package Price and dont kill my pocket book.
I want it to sound good, run back and forth to work, but smoke a chevy if put up to it.
Don't forget... Siamese or not.. pro's and con's.... I'm ordering (the block only) tomorrow.
