W on 318 heads?

W on 318 heads?
I just went to the local salvage yard and they guy started telling me about this 318 engine he had. He told me it was extremly quick and a lot quicker than any other 318 he had ever dealt with. He said the motor had a W In the vin. What does the W stand for?

can he tell you the whole vin # , but i really dont think its nothing as the 318's were pretty much the same thing but in i think three different models which were just the valve size by .010 i think which isn't much , i think he was just trying to sell you something he wanted you to think it was a better engine
