I am not a Mopar guy so please bear with me. I have a 440 long block with block casting 2536430-4 & a build date of 6/28/65. The cylinder heads are casting 2406516-7 & 2406516-8 it also has the intake on it & it is a 4 bbl 2206000. My question is if I should try to sell it or just scrap it. All input appreciated.

 

What are the numbers and letters stamped in the boss next to the distributor?

That is all the numbers on the pad.

 

It's got value to someone with a 66 restoration but the shortblock is good for a milder performance build and worth a few bucks if it hasn't been froze.

 

 

Although I haven't completely taken it apart, I haven't seen anything that would indicate it ever froze up. It turns over using a small prybar & I haven't seen any scored cylinder walls. Any idea of the value?
