Cool Road Runner Promo Stationary Wheel Discs

Back in '69, MOPAR dealers sold these advertising wheel discs as accessories for Plymouth Road Runners as well as other B-Body cars.

They bolted directly onto the front spindles using special mounting hardware and remained stationary as the wheels turned, giving the illusion that the front wheels were locked up (floater effect)

Just check out these videos to get an idea of how they work:

Authentic MOPAR wheel discs are nearly impossible to find and will cost you and arm and a leg, so I made these reproduction discs at a much more affordable price.

These precision laser cut discs are made from .090" aluminum (not cardboard or plastic like some other reproductions made over the years)

Unlike the original mounting hardware which requires you to jack up the car, remove the original spindle nut and reset bearing pre-load, my special mounting hardware simply bolts on to your spindle's existing threads

Installs in less than a minute with no need to remove your original spindle nut or even jack up the car!!

Here's a quick installation video:

Here's a list of all that is included in each set:

2 Precision Laser Cut 15" Bare Aluinum Wheel Discs
2 Custom Machined Spindle Mounting Nuts
2 Allen Head Disc Mounting Bolts
2 Modified Mr. Gasket Chrome Dust Caps
2 Pre-Drilled Plastic Dust Caps

$110 local pickup or $130 shipped to the 48 states

*PLEASE NOTE*

Due to copyright issues, I will not be selling any vinyl artwork with these discs, however, I do know of a supplier that is willing to re-create any and all artwork you wish for a reasonable fee and can give you his contact info at time of purchase

The problem with running a Dominator on the street is the part throttle performance (or lack of)

It's either on or off and pedaling it will only bring on the bog

And if I punch it, cold tires just go up in smoke, which I've been trying to avoid since they're down to the cords

Snake its always fun to ride along with you...I love the bus pulling in front of you and that is exactly what I said too WTF & What an AH...You would think maybe wait for the bright green RR would be in order...I had a situation like that last summer..Just got done with a smoker and was in 2nd gear coming around a corner on a state route and a lady pushing a stroller steps out in front of me (not in a cross walk)( And the car is as Bright Yellow as the sun)I'm on the brakes hard all 4 tires sliding and squealing and she just looks and keeps walking across the street...My heart was in my throat not for her but for the innocent baby in the stroller...I still dont know what she was thinking...There wasn't even a sidewalk or traffic light or anything.. She just walked out in front of me....stupid b1+ch...I had to go home and change my shorts...Bill

fantastic and great are not enough for me to say about what you did. i DO remember them when new. i really love the black wheels, with chrome lug nuts. when my 66 charger was new i pulled the covers off and painted the lug nuts and hub gold. with a tan body. i thought it looked good.

Thanks

Sold my last set months ago, but considering possibly making another run if there's enough interest.....

If anyone here think they'd be in for a set, post up here or shoot me an email and I'll see about getting the ball rolling again...

I'm actually in the middle of selling off my final run.

All of which have been spoken for already, but if anyone decides to back out, I'll let you know.

Your best bet is to hit up the A12 forums

A few members there bought multiple sets
