Could anyone break this down for me and let me know what these numbers mean please?

 

I just realized I posted this in the wrong section, sorry guys. After 3 days of searching I finally found my answers. I'll share them just incase anyone else was curious.

PM=engine assembly plant Mound Road
318= displacement
R=regular fuel
2912=10,000 day calendar assembly date = July 18th, 1969
1694=engine sequence assembly number
