Double posting

I guess I double posted the other day... My bad... I'm not a newbie but I'm a little confused on how to navigate the forum... I have several questions... 1. Do you have to put a title to your post? 2. When you want to reply to another member's comment or quote is that considered a thread or a post ? 3. Are you supposed to use a title when you reply back on a thread?
4. How do I get the "new member" status off my Avatar?

welcome to the site. I can help with a few things. 1, yes, a title to the thread lets people know what it is about and can search for it to respond. 2, a reply is considered a post within a thread. 3, no, a title is just for starting a thread. 4, not sure. I would imagine it just happens after you have been a member for so long or reach a certain number of posts.

Thanks for clearing that up... so this reply is a post to the thread that I created yesterday about double posting correct? So the rules say only one post per day so I'm not starting a new post when I'm replying to this thread correct? But if I wanted to start a new post that would be considered as my 1 post for the day but I'm allowed to reply to any amount of threads I might be interested in correct?

A double post is when you post a question in one thread and then in another and maybe even another.
a simple way to keep up with things here is to hit the new posts button where all posts show up including all the duplicate posts. Please feel free to respond to any thread that you would like to I’m encouraged that you have read the rules, have fun and share your thoughts.
