We're going to run the same motor for a bit with mixed fuel. I think the purple cam is .580 lift.

low mount alternator kit didn't fit because of the motor plate. So I turned it upside down and mounted it to the motor plate. hope I can find the worlds smallest belt. ha ha

Fits well I think no need for a radio so I'll be drilling soon.

So just the other day we got the car to start after some spitting from the carb. After that we tested all the lights and its all a go so far. Just need to clean up the cab wiring, install the new gas tank, and some other misc stuff. just wanted to send out an update.

Had a local shop paint the doors. Going to hit up a local car show this weekend. Looks pretty good from 20 feet.

Wow... They did a nice job matching that paint....
I like it with the lighter side of the decals... Nice
By the way... In that rear quarter window. Is That sticker a TNN/Firestone series decal?

I also ran that series !!!!!!! Boy what fun times.. Great payout for that time and the competition was awesome.. I raced that series till it changed to espn and then bowed out.. After that I went ProGas Racing... Then I did the same thing y'all are doing. (sort of) Sold all the big hardware and put my street 440 back in it, Turned it back into a street car... And in 1995 some dude made me an offer i couldn't refuse.... The car now lives in Japan.. And it got Totaled their.
