1972 D100 wiring diagrams

Hi guys I am looking for some help regarding wiring diagrams. I have a service manual for my d100 and have been using it quite a bit for some wiring work. It has helped a lot however know I need to know where some of these wires go without having to cut the harness up and search. On the diagram there is a code (say B16) followed by a number and color code (which I have learned is the gauge of wire and the color). What I need to know is what the first code represents and if it tells me what the wire goes to. Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you for replying! Yeah that is my problem i cant find a chart explaing what those are. A few years ago i had one wire go up in flames and it caught 2 others, i knew where 1 went so it was rmeasy to replace. I have cut open the wire loom and found good wire on the other 2 but i dont know where they are supposed to go as when they burned they virtually disintegrated. Working on replacing bulk head connectors and re working wires and that is my only hang up as of now!

I'm Guessing you will just have to use the Bulkhead placement of the wire and trace it from the wiring diagram to figure out where the wires go. Or Just leave those slot empty untill you can figure out what is not work after getting it all back together>

yes! Thats just made difficult because the wire burned then corroded and disintegrated i think it has something to do with brake lights but not for sure. Im replacing the bulkhead connector all together!

yeah ive tried that but the wiring diagrams i have dont show the whole truck. For instance it shows coming out of the firewall and just ends with the code. Know where i can get a full truck diagram? I have a feeling it has something to do with turn signal or emergency brake light

I have a Factory Service Manual for my ramcharger that has the full set of wiring diagrams. You may be able to find one cheaper on EBAY, but this is what all of us need for our rigs.

I found the wires!!

After alot of tracing and crawling around the truck i have figured out the wires!! So if anyone ever needs to know here it is. B16 is an emergency brake light wire. It run from the switch on the panel up to a round plug on the back of the instrument panel where it goes to a light indicator. It then splits off and runs down to the bulkhead located on the firewall, there the 2 blu/wht (code B16)wires come together and make one out the engine bay side and run to power.
