1985 D100 1/2 ton Air Pump reloaction issues

I have a 1985 D100 318 with air conditioning. I also have an "air pump" due to smog requirements. Trying to remove the air conditioning and want to move the air pump to the air compressor location to free up space to get to the power steering pump.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a custom bracket and shims to make the move? Tried Summit and the guy sounded like he could care less.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Update: I am removing the air pump because I no longer need it. The air conditioning I will be keeping. My issue now lies with a box that's mounted under the left fender inside the engine compartment. I have no idea what it is, but the air cleaner breather routes to it, a vacuum line from the smog pump routes to it, and it has two large wiring connectors which is part of the main harness.
Any idea as to what this box is, and will it cause me grief when I disconnect the air pump and get rid of the cat?
This box has the number 4279966 on it but I can't find any info.

Help.
