1989 D100 Trailer Turn Signals

1989 D100 318 2WD
I've got a 4-wire trailer harness and I'm having trouble locating the turn signal/brake wire to splice into for the trailer lights. Each tail light has three wires to them (GREY, YEL-BLK, AND GRN-BLK) and the harness has four wires (WHT ground, YEL left light, GRN right light, and BRN running lights). I've tried just about every combo I can think of and all I can get is running lights. If anyone has a clue about how to get this wired it would be much appreciated. I can provide pictures if needed.

On my Ramcharger I just found the wires directly out of the tail housings and spliced into them—used a pointed 12v hot wire finder. A little time consuming but it worked! The toughest part was running the wires so they wouldn't be damaged.
