78 Heater Core solution
Are 1978 non AC heater cores expensive because there is no demand or is there something unique about them? Or - are they not expensive everywhere and LMC truck is not the only place that sells them?
I'm using a 1978 d150 heater core in a non AC box that I want to put in my 79 w150 cab that had an AC system. I plan to have the heater core pressure tested but wanted to have a contingency plan if it is shot.
Also, how hard would it be to convert the box to take a different style heater core?
Thank you!

I ended up checking everything out and Four Seasons does have a part number though none of their distributors carry it. As far as I can tell the only place to purchase a new one is actually LMC.
I ended up having a small leak in the tank of one I pulled from a parts truck repaired and went with that.
Thanks for all of the advice!
