Was told by a "reputable" source that a lowering kit for a '83-'97 Mitsubishi Mighty Max will fit my '89 D150...is this true? If so, didn't know Dodge and Mitsubishi were the same. If not, does anyone know of a lowering kit that will work?

 

mitsu abd dodge have always had a relationship. have u looked at belltech. or western chassis? they may make one. ive see them lowered. mabey a new style ram stuff would work like 94-03? i think

No it won't work. The Mitsubishi Mighty Max is comparable to the 1st gen Dodge Dakota (compact truck), not the D150 (1/2 ton full size). The suspension components won't handle the weight of the D150.

You can get lower arms on ebay JUST make sure to get 1/2 T . that should get you the correct lower ball joint size
