I am looking at a 1973 Club Cab 2wd. 440 4bbl, 727. My only problem is that somewhere in its past the fuel tank was removed. I can't find a replacment for it nor a sending unit. Can I use one from a late 70's truck and the corrisponding fuel gauge?

 

Do some measuring You should be able to install one from a later truck under the bed
