I guess I read Z bar as the kick down linkage on an automatic, is there linkage from the clutch Z bar to the transmission on a manual transmission?

 

I just took a stab in the dark that it was a manual trans... lol / Will see if my guess is correct or not / Heaven known i've been wrong many times...

You should know a 727 torqueflite is not a manual trans
