What about the street set made by Hedman. I have some unknown set in my 72, but I saw a 68 gts 340 with Hedmans street headers, they were snug but there wasnt any sign of clearance issues. My set is similar to these and I have knocking issues at the top of the steering just before the firewall on the number 7 tube. The Comp series has a different design that they say doesnt work with power steering and it also seems to have a ground clearance issue.
I'm also looking for a new set for when I pull my 318 and stoke it to 390. Ill let you know how well they work.
