v8 in a v6 dakota no start
I just got a 94 dakota from a kid that put a 95 ram 360 magnum in it with comp. and harness. he only got it to start 2 times and it ran like crap. since then it wont start. I talked to a mopar guy and he said if the kid used the v6 flywheel then the crank sensor wont tell it to fire right. makes sense. the kid said he may have used the v6 wheel but he cant remember. so I figured I can bypass that crap by putting an style coil on it with a switched ign. source right? well that didnt work either. so I got a brand new coil that was bad or the truck is smarter than me. any help??? please?

hate to say it but you might have to replace the flywheel with a V8 one. you could always go down to a local parts store and rent a diag tool also. hooking that up should give you some insight as to what the problem could be.
