exhaust squeak
anyone have any ideas to get my exhaust to stop squeaking and rattling. any time i hit a bump the dang thing makes noise. i want people to look at my car for its looks not the exhaust rattle. i am running headers with flowmaster dual exhaust held up by factory hangers. a friend told me to attach it tight to the frame i know this is a no no because of motor flex. what can i do?

Does sound like there something amiss with the way the pipes/mufflers were hung or what they were hung with (type of hangers). Can't say anything without seeing it, so you have to be able to get under the car. If you can't tell where it's hitting, look for fresh (shinny) scuff marks. The pipes may be too loose or too close to "something".
Hint - factory hangers may or may not work with aftermarket or custom systems.

Bring it to an exhaust shop and have then install all new hangers. Because they work with exhaust systems day in and day out, they will know exactly where you will need hangers and tighten up any loose clamps.
Hang you inspected your muffer bearings though? When they start to go, they do make some squeaking noises.
