Cool Tire wear

Ive always had the inside of my front two tires wear really quickly. I replaced all the ball joints and bushings and got it re-aligned and the inside is still wearing. When you look at the front tires compared to the back ones, you can see that they are negatively cambered. Ive had it realigned several times before to try to correct this with no solution yet.

Forget about the computer alignments. Find someone who knows Mopars. Or some one who uses the old fashion equipment. They will know how to set it up for better tire wear and do a better job..

Did you replace the bushings that surround the adjustment bolts?
If you did, then it is the shops fault.

I have the same problem, except mine wear on the outside. Very slight though after I had it aligned last, but definitely noticeable.

If you know what negative camber means then you should know which way to go. One tip is before you loosen the camber bolts take a punch or chisel corner and mark the cam (big washer) were it meets the frame. This way you can go back if things go bad and move the front and back the same amount so you don't change caster. I have a gravity protractor to check degree of change, not actual book spec.Good Luck. (much easier with two people)

You need a little toe in to make the tires wear better. definately find an ol skool mopar guy and have him do it. just start callin places. thats the best way to do it.

The only adjustment on most of the newer cars is "toe". The younger crowd does not know camber and caster. You need to find an "old school" guy!
