starter from a Dodge Ram fits??
Does anyone know if a starter from a Dodge Ram with the 318 fits my Dodge Pioneer -61 318? Thought of the brackets and so ..
My knocking and sometimes it doesn't seem that the gear go out, Should first check there is no play in any cable ..

If your '61 is a poly 318 I'm not sure. But I can tell you that the starter in my '89 Ram 318 is out of a '75 passenger car 360. I think all small and big block starters (pre-magnum SB) are all the same.
