1992 D150 fuel line quick connector
Noticed fuel leaking on the ground. Feeling around on top of the tank, it appears to be one of the rubber lines going to the fuel pump. It has hose clamps on both ends and was leaking where it went into the pump. I tightened the hose clamp and it's not leaking now; but a friend told me there should be a quick connector there. Is it unsafe without the quick connector. If so, can anyone tell me which Dorman part # I need. Thanks for your help.

I would have to see a picture of it. But if you get the line, there is a repair splice kit you can get to repair the line IF it's not to brittle from age.
But Dorman or Motor mite has the splice, you might have to pick up the fitting at a wrecking yard, and as Iowan said, at that point you might just as well replace the whole line if you can.
Just my 2 cents..

Thanks for the replies. Rain and other things have kept me from working on it. I think maybe I can get some calipers on it to measure. I'll post the Dorman part # when I find out which one I need in case someone else has to replace the quick connector some time.
