1968 Roadrunner tubbed worth buying?

Question 1968 Roadrunner tubbed worth buying?

I have a chance to trade a 1929 Chevrolet 2dr, 5 window, restored mint to original condition, for a 1968 Roadrunner, with a 1973 440 Ci motor. Its a solid car but is TUBBED.....What would it be worth and being Tubbed less desirable?

Depends on how nice it is... Bondo or metal? Runs good? Drives good? ect..

Pics of both cars?

As for as the tubbing goes, if it was done very nicely then it really shouldn't affect the value, atleast I couldn't imagine it would.

are you buying this for yourself or gonna turn around to make a buck? i dont know how much value it would lose being tubbed, but could always bring it back to factory form,
if its for you, do you care if its tubbed?
i wouldnt care its a roadrunner!

It's not a numbers matching car so the fact that it's tubbed means nothing really. The value of it is going to be purely based on what was done and how well it was done.

Thanks. I did the deal and now picking a colour. Either Hemi Orange or someone mentioned an R4 - 71582 Barracuda Orange............I want an eye grabbing colour but still have the old school muscle car look.
