1972 Charger engine swap
your car was exactly what i imagined my car to be b4 i joined this forum. very nice man and im sorry if i copy you but ive always liked flat/hotrod black espically on muscle cars. funny thing too is our cars are almost the same car.mine was originally the green your car was lol.
It looks great!
You should bring it to Jimmy's Picnic in Golden Gate Park next year! There is always a good Mopar turnout!
Personally, I'm glad that you went with the 440 and yes, a '73 440 would have a cast crank.

New carb, distributor, voltage reg, MSD wires n some engine bay organization. Runs incredible now. Sounds scary at idle and when rev'd... also got two bucket seats for the rear. Haven't fabbed them in yet but they fit in btwn the rear bars

How did you repair your dashpad? Was that one of those dashpad caps? My dashpad is cracked also and was considering one of those caps but was unsure about the fit and quality, by the looks of your photos it turned out pretty good........
Thanks! It is not a dashpad cap. We glassed over/filled the original pad and used a vinyl coating to refurbish the dash pad. A lot of labor hours but it turned out phenomenal!! Total cost was maybe $20-$30 in materials.

I guess i hadnt heard of this process. Is this a repair kit that i can pick up at a local parts store? Can you give me more info on this process? This looks like a route that I would be interested in doing on mine. Thanks!!
Not a kit. Just get some body filler, fiberglass reinforcement and primers/paints with a the final coating being SEM's "Color Coat". SEM is the ****!
