Question 70 426 w/crossram and matching tranny

Not familiar with Mopar but have access to this engine and tranny involving a trade. Have absolutely no idea what I'm getting into but know that it's worth something. Need to know what to look for numbers wise and where to find it. Have pics if needed. Thanks for any kind of help. Really needing to know if a crossram is factory or aftermarket. He's saying it's factory but what do I look for??

Mopar crossram intakes are factory as nobody makes them aftermarket..... yet. The casting number on teh block should be on the passenger side, maybe driver's side too, that will help us assist you better. some over all pics from different angles will help out too (and make us happy).

Welcome!

427 or 727? A 727 Torque Flight is Mopar's famous tranny.

426?
you are referring to the hemi right?
the cross ram manifold that it had was different than the 413 and 383's of the early sixties
it is more like the chevy 302 dual quad manifold
that hemi, if it had all the parts on it with the tranny would be worth some money
