So far so good. It seems to fit well. It does not have the cowl lovers although. As you can tell I have had to do some touch up work to it.

Merry Christmas to everyone! I haven't posted many pictures of the charger lately because they all look the same for the most part. However I have been working on it all this time and I think it is time for a progress report for the Holidays.

I didn't like some low spots in the roof so I had to bring them up some.

I got the engine over to the shop and stored away for now.

I wanted to put this unit with A/C in the car. but my car was a heat only car and the firewall had the wrong holes.

Transferred it to the car,

and cut it out.

Weld up the old holes and fit it in there.

I Built my own paint booth behind the shop, but needed a way to pull the car around.

I then started to mask off the out side to shoot the jambs. This was some time last week.

I had a lot of issues with dust last night and did not want to paint the yellow today. Also my paint gun was giving me some issues so I had to change guns mid spray. This is what she looks like now. Had I been able to paint it within 16hrs I would not need to scuff the primer. How ever due to lint getting on the car while I was spraying I will wet sand it and then shoot it with Yellow.

I think the lint came from the jump suit I was wearing, so I am going to buy another Tyvex one.

Once again Merry Christmas to Every one in MOPAR LAND, and have a safe and happy new year!

I'm impressed. Having owned two of the 3G Chargers, that's a lot of real estate to get right, you've got it going on.

Update on the charger. I trailer ed it a few times to a friend's house. He has a lift. I have tags and Insurance on it so I am driving it now. I had bought a new set of wheels and was saving up to buy some new tires before mounting them. One day while I was driving my old roller tires gave up. I had to buy some used tires quickly. I mounted them to the new wheels. They are too small, but I think that they look a lot better than what I had on there. I have been dialing in the timing and crab. Also working on the interior. I was taking my neighbor out for a spin when my heater core gave up the goods. Had to remove that and replace it. There is a vibration that comes in at around 55 to 65 mph. I got to track that down. The cam for the wiper motor broke off both tabs, so a quick repair with the tig welder sorted that out. I have taken my dog for a few rides, I think she likes it!
