New B Bird

Hello everyone. I recentaily bought a 1969 road runner that the fender tag and build sheet have been lost. I bought the car as adriver but would like to restore somewhat. Can anyone tell me howto research the vin to find a fendertag? What i know is the car has never been touched except engine, trans, rearend rebuilds.
The car = 1969 2door post coupe
The engine= 383 HP block # match
The trans= 727 TQflite # match
The rear= 8 3/4 belivetag says 3.55
the car has power steering, am thumb dial radio, black bench with terquiose headliner, car is seafoam terquiose, trac pac as far as i can tell.

That car ought to be a snap to redo. All I can suggest is to contact Galen Govier, he's the Mopar numbers guru. If it can be done he's the one who would know.

look down under the horns near the bottom of the radiator should see a little orange box as someone put a new mopar electronic ignition into it.

Overall its plain but looks almost original the coil can be tossed and a new one purchased easily enough. Chances are the engine crossover is plugged solid and needs a cleaning along with lubricating or fixing the heat rizer on the exhaust. Someone monkeyed with the fuel line already so that should be replaced with a correct new all steel one that goes from the carb to the fuel pump.

The rear springs look sagged out, you can put new springs, an extra leaf on each, or overload shocks to bring it back up to height.

Things to check are the rocker panels near the rear wheelwell, bottom of fenders at door and behind the fender the front of rocker panel. common rust areas.
