In '69 they should match the serial number. The last year they showed production number was '68. I hope it's just wanting a real road runner and not cause you paid road runner price for a satellite. If it's matching number, you will have the serial number stamped into the block just above the oil pan rail on the passenger side, and very close to the same location on the tranny. Easier than that, before you start crawling under the car, it should have a 383, and there should be an E 383 stamped on the horizontal with the ground pad in front of the passenger side head, on the block.

Did you get a title w/ the car or just a bill of sale? is the int. still intact . pull the back seat bottom and see if the build sheets still there. If not there. try the front seats. on bottoms.

If the numbers are still on the rad support, drivers side, then you can copy them down and contact galen gavier at gts.com and for a fee you can give him the vin numbers and he has build lists, he may be able to confirm what it is.
